Faith Forward conference brings hundreds together in Fargo — Harvey Business news

FARGO — Finding purpose beyond a paycheck is bringing hundreds of people together in Fargo. Faith Forward's third annual conference started Thursday, Oct. 29, at Hope Lutheran Church s South Campus. The Fargo-based Christian nonprofit says more than 500 people registered this year, up from 400 last year. Local and national speakers shared how their beliefs shape the way they work and lead. Executive Director Mark Wallace says the goal is to help people put those lessons into practice. He says business leaders can help by recognizing and encouraging those qualities in their employees. He says that starts with how they treat the people around them. Cultures that are defined usually put like core values on the wall. But truly, a culture is informed by who comes to work and also what values are rewarded, Wallace said. Faith Forward's conference continues Friday from 7:45 a.m. to noon. ]]>
