Report: Depleted Thunder to sign G Ochai Agbaji — Harvey Sports news

By Field Level Media Oct 30 (Field Level Media) With long-term injuries to both Jalen Wiliams and Cason Wallace, ‌the Oklahoma City Thunder signed guard Ochai Agbaji, ESPN reported Friday. Agbaji was waived by the New ‌York Knicks just before the season started. The Kansas product has played with three teams since he was the No. 14 overall selection in the 2022 draft by the Cleveland Cavaliers. Traded to the Utah Jazz less than three months after he was drafted, Agbaji has also spent time ‌with the Toronto Raptors and Brooklyn Nets. The 26-year- old has averaged 7.2 points with 2.7 rebounds in 263 career NBA games (108 starts). Williams, 25, underwent surgery Thursday ‌for a broken left fibula, fractured ankle and ligament ‌damage and is likely out for the remainder of the season. Wallace, 22, is scheduled for surgery on a torn labrum in his left shoulder. ( Field Level Media)
